Vitalik Buterin and Memcoins: New Application Prospects

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, shared his thoughts on memcoins and presented a variety of ways to use them, including charity and blockchain gaming, in his latest article.
Buterin called for looking at memcoins from a different perspective and suggested using them to raise funds for charity. He mentioned examples of tokens such as GiveWell Inu and Fable of the Dragon (TYRANT), which donate a portion of proceeds to charitable causes.

Buterin also put forward the idea of introducing memcoins into the gaming industry. He proposed a scenario in which players could use memcoins to vote on the direction of funds to charities.
Messari experts note the significant potential of memcoins as a new asset class, and Franklin Templeton analysts concluded that memcoins represent a unique product that is closely related to native blockchain networks.
