The Mi Primer Bitcoin initiative, which originated in 2021 in El Salvador, is being updated for the global community in collaboration with Bitcoin educators and enthusiasts.
Taking into account the history, technical aspects and everyday use of Bitcoin, the Bitcoin Diploma program is made available as open source on GitHub, promoting the global dissemination of knowledge.
The role of financial literacy
The founder of Mi Primer Bitcoin, John Dennehy, emphasizes the importance of Bitcoin education in promoting creativity, innovation and financial literacy.
The updated program is now available in 26 languages, demonstrating a commitment to expanding Bitcoin education around the world.
The previous version of the program was successfully implemented by more than 25,000 students in El Salvador, sparking several graduation ceremonies and inspiring future efforts.
