The list includes the heads of leading technology companies, early Bitcoin investors and founders of promising startups. The top list includes former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, and well-known figures from the cryptocurrency world such as Michael Saylor. Let's take a look at some of the top crypto billionaires featured on Forbes' list.

The Triumph of Changpeng "CZ" Zhao

The former head of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, took first place in the ranking with a fortune estimated at $33 billion. According to Forbes, this is three times more than his fortune in the previous year. Interestingly, despite being forced to resign as CEO and paying a large fine, his financial position remained stable.

Vice President of Coinbase in second place

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong's net worth was $11.2 billion, according to Forbes, up $2.2 billion from last year. He ranked second on the list of crypto billionaires thanks to his large stake in the company's shares, which have risen significantly in price in 2023.

Third place went to CFO Tether

Giancarlo Devasini, CFO of Tether, took third place in the ranking with a fortune of $9.2 billion. His wealth is largely due to the success of Tether and the growth of the capitalization of the USDT stablecoin.
