DeFi project 1inch Network announced the launch of its long-awaited debit card 1inch Card in partnership with Baanx and the largest payment service Mastercard.
1inch Card provides a unique opportunity for its users to top up their balance with cryptocurrency and make payments both in online stores and in regular retail outlets. They can also withdraw cash from ATMs. This became possible thanks to the instant conversion of digital assets into fiat currency at a favorable rate.
Process of obtaining a card
In order to receive a 1inch Card, users must queue up by filling out their personal details on the official website of 1inch Network. The service provides the opportunity to order both a virtual and a physical card. Currently, cards are issued to citizens of the European Economic Area and the UK, and in the future it is possible to expand the geography of service, including the Russian Federation.
Possible prospects
Sergey Kunz, co-founder of 1inch Network, expressed hope that the release of a debit card will help attract new users to the platform. He noted that many already use 1inch to exchange cryptocurrencies and develop software, and 1inch Card will become another tool for expanding the project’s client base.
The release of the 1inch Card debit card opens up new opportunities for project users, allowing them to more conveniently use their cryptocurrency assets in everyday life.
