The UK witnessed the brutal abduction of Chinese businessman Dylan Huang, who was attacked, tied up and taken to an unknown location where he was held captive for 24 hours. The criminals demanded a ransom of $15 million in bitcoins, threatening him with a knife and subjecting him to torture.

After a hell of violence and fear, Juan was released, abandoned on the side of a road in Surrey. Thanks to the prompt actions of the police, it was possible to detain one of the suspects - 35-year-old Tianfu Guo, a citizen of the People's Republic of China, among whose property they found money and passports of other persons with Chinese citizenship.

Despite the arrest of one suspect, British law enforcement authorities suspect that six others involved in the kidnapping of the businessman are hiding in China. The investigation into this case continues, extending beyond national borders.

The situation led to changes in UK legislation that gave law enforcement agencies the ability to freeze crypto assets in cases of suspected criminal activity, even without a court conviction. This move is aimed at ensuring a more effective fight against crime associated with the use of cryptocurrency funds.
