Next week, Telegram will provide the ability to send tips in the TON-based cryptocurrency. Content creators will be able to receive up to 70% of the income from tips sent to them.
The messenger will also provide the opportunity to buy digital goods with cryptocurrency, with sellers receiving up to 70% of the total income.
Earnings on Usernames and Anonymous NFTs
Users will have the opportunity to earn 95% royalties on usernames and anonymous NFTs on the TON blockchain, such as emojis and stickers.
Durov emphasized that Telegram has integrated blockchain at a deep level, emphasizing that the company values blockchain technology as a symbol of freedom.
