Dozens of accounts were found among the frozen addresses. They are associated with the Coinbase exchange and various figures in the cryptosphere.
Examples of cases:
- One of the addresses is the one where Vitalik Buterin sent 50 ETH, and the recipient left the funds on the Optimism Bridge. The total amount of stranded assets at this address reaches $1 million.
- Another Coinbase address is stuck on a bridge with an estimated value of $75,000.
Cause Analysis
Arkham experts say the reason is that traders are not being reminded to manually withdraw funds, leading to assets getting stuck on bridges.
