The Twitter account of one of the most famous cryptocurrency launchpads, Coinlist, fell into the hands of scammers who published a post on behalf of the project about the launch of a new LIST token. In a few hours, the message was viewed by thousands of users
Upon detecting suspicious activity, the Coinlist team immediately took measures to protect the account and reported the hack on social networks. Representatives of the project stressed that they never conduct a token giveaway in this way, and users should exercise caution when such messages appear on social networks.
"CoinList's Twitter account has been hacked. Please do not click on the links. We don't have a token to release to the market, and we don't plan to do so. We will let you know when the problem is resolved," they wrote on Telegram
Coinlist also assured that the security of client funds and personal information remains a top priority. At the moment, the project team is working on additional security measures to prevent unauthorized access in the future.
