Stable Inflows Mark Bitcoin-ETF Activity

In a significant development within the realm of cryptocurrency investment, American Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) witnessed a substantial inflow of investment funds totaling approximately $403 million on February 8. Notably, users withdrew $100 million from the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust; however, this withdrawal did not affect the overall balance. These industry funds began trading on the global market from January 11 this year, with a total influx estimated at $2.1 billion.

Impact on Bitcoin Dynamics

This influx has positively impacted the dynamics of the leading digital currency, propelling it to $46,000 in a sharp upward surge. BlackRock iShares emerged as the leader in fund inflow, attracting around $204 million, followed by Fidelity's fund with $128 million. Bitwise's ETF secured a $60 million influx, positioning it in third place. Nevertheless, trading volume within industry funds dropped below the $1 billion mark.

Expert Insights and Market Expectations

Commenting on this situation, Bloomberg strategist Eric Balchunas noted, "BlackRock's fund has surpassed Grayscale Bitcoin Trust in trading volume. In my view, this is a significant achievement! It often takes a new fund a minimum of 5 years to approach the flagship product in this regard."

Many industry experts agree that the steady influx of funds into Bitcoin ETFs indicates a growing interest among investors in high-risk assets. Simultaneously, users are actively withdrawing BTC coins from centralized platforms. While it may be premature to speak of a full-fledged bull run in the market, specialists speculate that catalysts for its formation could include the Federal Reserve's monetary policy easing and the upcoming halving, tentatively scheduled for April this year.

Currently, Bitcoin confidently surpassed the $47,000 mark, with trading volumes increasing by 31.6% over the past day, approaching $34 billion.
