Trump to Form 12-Industry Advisory Board on Cryptocurrency

According to Bloomberg, the board will begin operations after the president’s inauguration, scheduled for late January. The members of this body will help the administration develop regulations aimed at improving the regulatory environment for crypto companies in the United States. They are also expected to be able to influence key decisions.
The board is expected to include figures such as David Sachs, who will become the new “crypto czar” in the White House, and David Bailey, who heads the media company BTC Inc. All potential board members have long-standing ties to Donald Trump and have met with him several times in recent months.
In addition, a gala ball is planned in Washington in honor of the new president’s inauguration. The event is hosted by David Bailey and supported by companies such as Stand With Crypto, MetaMask, Kraken and a number of other industry representatives.
The event is expected to feature major cryptocurrency donors who actively supported Trump's presidential campaign and contributed significant financial resources to his inauguration.
