Shuttle Labs announced the completion of a $2.3 million funding round. The funds raised will be used to develop the Lore Explorer blockchain browser.

The project received financial support from investors from SALT.org, Arca, Balaji Srinivasan and Floodgate. It supports artificial intelligence (AI) and includes a suite of blockchain analysis tools. Lore Explorer is positioned as a competitor to Etherscan and other similar services.

“Etherscan, Blockchain.com, Blockscout and Blockchair are not just outdated, they look 'alienated'. We won't go into specific downsides, but these programs are pretty much useless in trying to make Web3 accessible and open." Shuttle Labs says.

The developers clarified that they plan to “replace the current standard of scary and obscure hashes with a more powerful modular solution that puts the user first.”

Lore Explorer was created by two Yale graduates Armaan Kalsi and Brihu Sundararaman, as well as their colleague Ryan Meicher. The analytical platform integrates large language models (LLM) based on artificial intelligence. It is currently in beta testing.

In June 2023, blockchain explorer Etherscan introduced an AI-based Code Reader tool. In August, a mobile version of Blockscan Chat was launched for messaging between wallets.
