Seamless Connection to USDC
The "seamless connection" to USDC is set to empower decentralized applications and protocols, as stated by Qredo developers. Making gas fees in chains like Ethereum more intuitive is crucial, and this achievement has also recently been tackled by their counterparts at Visa (V).
Qredo's Innovative Toolkit
Qredo's new toolkit comprises innovative elements, including Circle's "cross-chain transfer protocol" for minting, redeeming, and transacting with USDC across multiple networks. This functionality is seamlessly integrated with Etherspot software for simplifying Web3 transactions and an open-source QSign payment bridge.
Facilitating Large-Scale Transactions
Ben Whitby, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Qredo, explained that the tight integration with Circle's USDC API interfaces enables institutions to easily convert millions of US dollars (USD) into cryptocurrency and stablecoins while also storing their digital assets in Qredo's non-custodial wallet. He highlighted the growing relevance of transitioning from physical cash to digital assets in today's society.
Gas-Free Transactions for User Convenience
Whitby emphasized that "gas-free" transactions help users interact with blockchains, providing confidence and predictability in gas costs. He noted that financial directors of large companies have long desired the ability to conduct transfers using stablecoins. "Now they can use USDC on any chain," he added.
