Uniswap Labs has released an update for the crypto wallet. It added a number of new features and improved the overall
security of the application.
According to the team, the update includes protection of transactions on the Ethereum network from so-called sandwich attacks.
Now, when performing swaps in Uniswap Wallet, each transaction is sent to a private pool. Such measures significantly increase the security of the application, according to Uniswap Labs.
The developers clarified that token exchanges through Uniswap v2 pools are considered more secure and the likelihood of failure is much lower. The Swap Protection feature is automatically enabled for all transactions, but can be disabled in the settings.
According to the team, the MEV Blocker tool is used to create additional security measures. The wallet also has the ability to copy and paste addresses.
Decentralized exchange Uniswap has surpassed Coinbase in terms of spot trading volumes.
